From their family to yours - meet the owners of Hynds Group.
Please join us on Tuesday 11 June 2024, 5.30-7.30pm alongside the Hynds family as they open their doors and host us at their Hygrade Water Warehouse in Christchurch.
In 1973, John and Leonie Hynds laid the foundation for the Hynds Group of Companies, a family-owned venture that has since become a cornerstone in New Zealand's civil construction industry. Over the past 50 years, they have evolved into the go-to supply partner, specialising in comprehensive solutions for drainage, watermain, stormwater, wastewater, and rural applications.
With a dedicated team of over 900 individuals across their operations in New Zealand and Australia, they have earned a reputation for excellence. Hynds Pipe Systems, the largest operating unit, boasts seven manufacturing plants, a nationwide team of Engineered Product Managers, Contract Account Managers, and an extensive network of 36 merchant branches throughout New Zealand.
Their commitment to quality management and accredited operating systems is unwavering. Guided by a robust leadership team and governed by a Board of Directors, including the visionary John Hynds, Mark Binns, and John's sons Adrian and Aaron Hynds, they are driving innovation and excellence in the industry.
What sets them apart is not just our products, but the values instilled by John Hynds himself – a passion for innovation, tenacity, and a deep understanding that relationships are the backbone of success. At the core of their philosophy is care for people, a commitment to lasting relationships, and industry-leading innovation.
“We want our people, customers, and suppliers to recognise that we are more than a successful business; we are a family business with heart, guided by a sustainable multi-generation plan.”
Adrian Hynds, Director, Hynds Group of Companies.
