About the Presenter
Chris Jackson brings a wealth of experience with 35 years in commercial banking. His presentation will share valuable insights on how banking lessons can be applied to the unique dynamics of family businesses.
Over a 35-year career with ANZ Chris held Senior Leadership roles with a wide range of responsibilities. He worked primarily with business customers across a variety of sectors including infrastructure, transport and logistics, professional services and commercial/industrial property investment. This included all of their banking and finance needs, transaction banking and debt.
Leading Commercial Banking teams throughout Sydney metro, regional NSW, the ACT and Queensland, Chris provided value by building strong and collaborative relationships, both internally and externally. He enjoys problem solving and has a forward thinking, curious nature.
Holding an MBA from Charles Sturt University, specialising in Strategic Innovation, Chris is passionate about people and communities and believes that we can all make a positive contribution to others.
In the past he has worked in a voluntary capacity with Starlight Children’s Foundation, The Special Olympics, Northcott Disability Services, the Finance Committee for St Patricks College Strathfield, The ANZ Staff Foundation and the ANZ Green Ambassadors program.
Passionate about snow skiing and the outdoors, Chris is currently Partnerships Officer for Protect our Winters Australia. POW is a passionate community of outdoor enthusiasts, athletes and industry brands uniting the outdoor community to advocate for policy solutions to climate change.
