We invite you to join us for our Celebrate Event 2025 on Thursday, 20 November, where FBA NZ members will come together for an enjoyable evening of networking, recognition, and celebration.
The event will kick off at 5:30pm and conclude at 7:30pm.

This year, we’ll be hosting the event at the Commodore Hotel, proudly owned and operated by family business members, Patterson Hospitality. Thomas Patterson, Sales and Marketing Director and General Manager, Hotel Montreal and Michael, Director and General Manager Commodore Hotel will welcome the family business community and share the story behind the business and their experience working alongside their brothers and Ken, Director and Manager, Queenstown Park Hotel.
Their family has a rich history in hospitality that dates back three generations, starting in 1939 with Grandma Nonie Ward, who was a hotel landlady on their mother’s side. On their father’s side, the family operated a city lunch bar known for its excellent food. In 1971, the two sides of the family joined forces to build the Commodore Hotel, which is still thriving today! The Commodore Hotel is a leading corporate hotel just three minutes from Christchurch Airport, featuring five-star rooms and conference facilities. In 2016, they expanded their portfolio with the addition of the Queenstown Park Hotel, a boutique haven that showcases the best of the region. Most recently, they welcomed the Hotel Montreal, a luxurious home away from home located in the heart of Christchurch city. To cater to all guest needs, Touchdown Car Rentals offers luxury car rentals in Christchurch and Queenstown with pick-up and drop-off, road assistance, and free airport transfers.
This event will be held in the stunning courtyard (weather dependant).
