Jacobsen Holdings was founded in 1962 by Wesley Jacobsen and is currently in its third generation of leadership, with Renee Jacobsen as Chief Executive Officer of the Jacobsen Flooring Group and Lars Jacobsen as Executive Director of Tredsafe. Jacobsen Flooring has been providing New Zealanders with world-class flooring solutions for over 60 years. Tredsafe, founded in 1982, provides stair nosing that protects stairs from wear and tear while adding anti-slip and visual definition to each step to help reduce the risk of accidents. Jacobsen Holdings is also the owner of Propspeed International, a marine coatings company that developed innovative foul release technology for propellers and underwater metals and now operates globally.
During this special event, you will hear from Renee and Lars, followed by a Q&A with the extended family, including Guy Jacobsen, Renee and Lars' father, and Marcus Hailton, CEO of Propspeed. They will discuss their successful succession plan, leadership, growth, and their people and planet values.

The Jacobsen Group is a third-generation, family-owned New Zealand business providing comprehensive flooring and safety solutions across Aotearoa. They are a family of specialised businesses offering end-to-end solutions in commercial and residential flooring, safety systems, and marine coatings, with a strong focus on technical expertise, quality, and family values. Founded in 1962 by Wesley Jacobsen, the business began as a flooring supplier and has grown steadily over the past 60+ years.
