Rupert Myer AO                           
 

Rupert Myer AO serves as a board member for several investment and philanthropic entities associated with five generations of the Myer Family. He has served on the Board of Myer Family Investments since 1991, including as Chairman, and currently chairs The Myer Foundation, Amcil Limited, the Felton Bequests’ Committee and A New Approach (ANA). He also serves as a director of Mutual Trust. Rupert was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia for his service to the arts and the community.

David Gibbs is a business strategist and adviser with a reputation for developing wise and practical solutions to personal, family and business financial problems. His career to date in financial matters spans some 50 years. During this time, David has seen the effects of many business cycles and the succession of management with a wide range of business operations. This experience has sharpened his passion for Family Enterprises, Corporate Governance and the identification and management of risk. David currently chairs and participates in a wide range of family business and other governance Boards, Teams and Committees. Working with other professionals in a collaborative way is a hallmark of David’s style and the basis of the Family Business Consultants Network of which David is a founding director. David is an Accredited Family Business Adviser.


This evening networking session follows the successful format of previous years and is held with the support of:

• The UHNW Institute
• Family Business Consultants Network

The evening will include a three-course dinner in a private venue, providing an opportunity for relaxed conversation and meaningful networking with peers in an informal and discreet setting. The dinner is designed to encourage connection and discussion ahead of the facilitated conversation later in the evening.
