This month's topic: Cyber resilience begins with human awareness - Make your people your greatest cyber asset

As cyber threats grow in scale and complexity, resilience has become just as critical as defence. This session will explore key threat trends, including the rise of AI, deepfakes and human-targeted attacks, and what they mean for organisational readiness. We'll focus on how to build a strong, people-led resilience strategy - empowering teams at every level to anticipate, respond, and recover with confidence.

3 key takeaways from attending this event:

  1. Key Trends – Understand the risk, who is behind it, and what they are after
Cyber threats are increasingly targeted, financially motivated, and tailored to exploit trust within smaller, close-knit organisations like family run businesses. Understanding their evolving tactics - such as social engineering, ransomware, and deepfakes and the threat actors behind them - is essential to protecting assets, data, and reputation.
  2. Cyber Threats Are Evolving and So Should We. Why Resilience is a Competitive Advantage
Building strong cyber and operational resilience isn’t just about protection - it ensures a business can continue to operate, recover quickly, and protect your reputation when incidents occur. Emerging threats like AI led deepfakes and targeted scams now affect businesses of all sizes. Quick and easy ways to enhance resilience to ensures a business stays one step ahead.
  3. People Are the Strongest Defence
Empowering staff through practical awareness, clear roles, and simple protocols can significantly reduce human-related cyber risk and strengthen overall security posture. Making cyber fun is key.
