This is an opportunity for advisors and other professionals across multiple disciplines to learn from each other, understand each other’s expertise and build a network that is required as trusted advisors to the unique Family Business sector.
Your local Advisor Facilitator will be your main point of contact.
Note: This event is for Advisors only.
This month's topic: When family business relationships get messy: Leveraging the advisor network
At the core of advising family businesses is a shared awareness that there are multiple interdependent systems at play (simplified in the 3 circle model), and this creates relational complexity. In this session, we will explore how the advisor network can help support our clients when this complexity turns up.
We will use a case study to explore:
- Know your client - Preserving loyalty to the client in the primary advisor relationship
- Recognising wider interests - Maximising the opportunity for complimentary skill sets to identify and protect other perspectives
- Strengthen business continuity - Working together to effectively identify and integrate the financial, legal and wider human interests represented within the family business.
Please come ready to explore how we can act as colleagues in a shared endeavour rather than competitors carving up a limited pie. Our goal is to help all of those in family businesses (including their advisors) to remain in right relationship.
