Indigo Imports, a family business run by Father Son duo, Dev and Gagan Singh, is a wholesaling company that supplies rugs, mats and carpet to national flooring stores, rug stores, online retailers, interior designers and furniture stores across Australia. We had a chat with them to find out more about their family business and how their products differ from other businesses. At the end of our chat, Dev also generously shared his advice for other family businesses.
About Indigo Imports
Indigo Imports started importing rugs, mats and carpet over 15 years ago. Our products include: Modern Rugs, Door Mats, Bath Mats and Carpets. Goods are imported from India, Turkey and China. Our products range from polyester machine-made items to 100% wool products. Wool products are mostly handmade by skilled artisans. Indigo Imports ensures products and overall supply chain are ethically sourced and made. Given strong relationships with suppliers, Indigo Imports is known for high quality products at affordable prices.
Gagan had previously been working for a major bank for close to two decades and is now more involved in the family business. He is bringing his experience gained at a large corporation into the family business, which has been a great positive for Indigo Imports.
