We spoke with Satwinder Flora to learn more about the family business, their growth, and their future expansions on the horizon.
About Satwinder and Nimbu
Nimbu was founded in 2020 by Satwinder Flora during the early stages of COVID-19. She set out to support businesses who needed assistance adopting digital technologies quickly due to the sudden need for businesses to adapt to trading restrictions.
Satwinder migrated to Australia from Kenya in 2001 where she completed her university studies at The University of Sydney. She moved to Perth in 2012 along with her parents and 2 younger sisters.

Nimbu has clients across a wide range of industries including mining and resources, professional services such as law firms and accountants as well as trade services and ecommerce. Nimbu’s websites range from simple brochure websites to more elaborate websites with advanced integrations and bespoke functionality.
Nimbu are also Search Engine Optimisation specialists, this makes sure businesses realise the full potential of their websites and helps to drive valuable traffic to generate a consistent source of leads for their clients.
Their greatest success
Over the last three years, Satwinder has managed to achieve significant growth with a 400% increase in revenue and clients spanning across Australia, New Zealand, the Far East and Europe. Satwinder has continued to successfully grow her business whilst being an active full-time mum to a 2 ½ year old daughter.
Satwinder is assisted by her husband Jevan as well as extended family members that play active roles within Nimbu. One of Nimbu’s key strengths is being proud to be a family run business and the level of dedicated support and attention this provides their clients.
What's Next?
Nimbu has very exciting times ahead with the next expansion strategy of the business underway, Nimbu will soon be offering new and existing clients crucial cyber security services, as well as managed IT solutions. When these services roll out in the 3rd quarter of 2024, Nimbu will offer a comprehensive all-in-one technology and digital marketing solution.
